In this step-by-step tutorial I show how to create and use Photoshop Actions so you can automate repetitive edits. We’ll record an action that removes the background, adds a white Solid Color layer, and orders the layers—then apply it to multiple images with a single click. I also cover assigning F-key shortcuts and what to add if you plan to batch later (Save/Export steps).
You’ll learn
Open the Actions panel (Window â–¸ Actions), create a New Action, and hit Record
Use Remove Background (or Select Subject + Mask) inside the recording
Add a Solid Color (white) layer and reorder layers under your subject
Stop the recording and Play the action on other images
Optional: assign F-keys (with Shift/Ctrl modifiers) and append Save/Export for batch runs
