This Core Concept video focuses on Augustine of Hippo's short work, On Free Choice of the Will, book 1, specifically on his discussion of what the source of the wrongness of wrongdoing is. Augustine and his student, Evodius discuss whether it is violation of the law or other social norms, passion (libido), desire, or fear, or - as it ultimately turns out to be - the human will.
