Data Storage is no simple feat in the modern world. However, with the right hardware you can get trouble-free operation and improve your workflow and productivity.
HDDs (Hard Disk Drives) provide cost effective bulk storage, but are limited to ~ 220MB/s Read and Write Speeds.
SSDs (Solid State Drives) provide an optimal blend of capacity and speed, but are limited to ~ 540MB/s Read and Write Speeds.
M.2 NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) SSDs with on-board flash memory deliver unreal speeds with a caveat of limited durability.
But how do you connect your M.2 NVMe SSD to your PC / Workstation? Can you install 4 NVMes on any system? What is the best PCIe adapter for fitment to your system?
Four Different Adapters will be tested with 4x 2TB NVMes to help identify which one is the best value in terms of RAID 0 Speeds and ability to keep NVMe temperatures down.
