Hi there 👋
If you’re new to Adalo — welcome! We’re a no-code app builder that enables anyone to create an app without coding; instead, you build an app through a visual interface where you drag and drop pre-made components and stylize them to your liking. Adalo is perfect for both native mobile apps that you would like to publish to the app stores & also web apps that can be published to custom domains. Businesses and entrepreneurs alike love Adalo for the ease of use & the ability to create an app that works cross-platform!
This video covers the basics of components and their unique functionality. Components are the building blocks of your screens inside your no-code app. They make up the individual visual elements of your app design. Components have a wide range of complexity — from very simple components like a rectangle or circle, to more complex components like a custom list.
Components will make up part of the foundation of your app and the interface where your users will interact with the data in your database. Also, components are the vessels for actions.
Three specific components we cover in this video are (1) a simple list, (2) the text component, and (3) a form component. While these are just three of hundreds of components, they showcase well how components interact with the database to create a dynamic app experience.
