Today guys I am going to talk to you about, Drone Harmony and give you a very quick overview on the drone automation app.
So, you may ask me, what is Drone Harmony? And what is drone automation? Drone Automation is when you can pre-plan a flight plan upload it to your drone, set that drone off to run that flight plan and then return it back to you. Why would you want to do something like that? Well, to me it's very very simple! It's battery life!
It saves so, so much battery life. As we all know as a drone enthusiast your drone battery is your biggest limitation on this. Far enough you can buy 3, 4, 5, 6 batteries but at roughly give or take, £80 a pop! Would you really want to when you can spend £30 for basic lifetime license or $29 a month if you wanted the pro version or even up to $99 for the business version.
I have been using Drone Harmony now give or take for about a year. Just back there in late 2018, early 2019 they gave the ability to upload to the cloud. That's a massive massive plus! They are going to be pushing more features in 2019.
So stay tuned to this channel guys and I will be pushing more content about what Drone Harmony can do. The benefits for me now having the cloud based services means that you can create a flight plan on your desktop, you can then go to onto your tablet. If you're sitting watching TV or whatever. You can finish that flight plan off and then the next day then you can go out.
You can fly that plan and come back home again. You've saved your battery, you can go and do multiple different flight plans on multiple different days and get the shot or the shots you want to see. This means you're not wasting your time when you get out onto that field!
