Step 1 : Install âMyStickyMenuâ Plugin
Go to WordPress Dashboard âș Plugins âș Add New
Now search for âMyStickyMenuâ and click âInstallâ & âActivateâ.
Step 2 : Make the Header Sticky
Go to WordPress Dashboard âș myStickymenu âș Sticky menu settings
Now select âPrimary Menuâ in Sticky class & click âSaveâ.
Next, letâs see how you can change the color of the header section.
Go to WordPress Dashboard âș myStickymenu âș Sticky menu settings
Now, from âSticky Background Colorâ, choose the color & click âSaveâ.
For some themes on your website, the plugin couldnât find the header.
So to make the header sticky for those themes,
Go to WordPress Dashboard âș myStickymenu âș Sticky menu settings
Now in âSticky Classâ select âOther Class or IDâ
Now you need to enter the ID or class of the header.
So to get that, go to your website
Now right-click on the header and click âInspectâ.
And you will find the ID and Class of your header.
Now just copy one of those and paste it in the sticky class field.
Make sure you enter â#â if youâre entering ID and â. (dot)â if youâre entering class.
Once youâve entered ID or Class, click âSaveâ.
