Getting clients to sign an event planner contract or venue contract is never easy, so anything you can do to simplify and streamline the process for them to sign is a step in the right direction. Our event contract agreement tools automate everything from creating/editing your legal event contracts online to emailing a link to your clients to sign contracts online.
First, you can create event contract templates for the contractual language you use repeatedly (and you can even copy-and-paste your current legal language from a document into one of our online templates). Then, you can pull that language into a new contract (or create one from scratch), make your updates for the particular client and email it to them.
Once your client receives the email, they click on the enclosed link, which takes them to a webpage where they can confirm their information, review the event contract / venue contract online and apply their electronic signature.
You are alerted when a contract is signed, and we collect their name and IP address as identifying information. So whether you are sending out event management contracts or venue rental agreements, our event contracts software tool can make your contract signing processes much smoother.

In this video we're gonna take a look at how you can create legal event contracts inside of your account as well as collect electronic signatures for those contracts. Two places in your account where you can create these event contracts are inside of the events area in the contracts tool right here or you can go to the main contracts area ing the main navigation and this is where you can create and track all event contracts for every event in your account. The stat circles up here in the top let you view contracts that have been signed by all parties as well as contracts that still need signatures. You can also use the filter up here to type in words or phrases for the name of a specific contract and you can also use the up down filters to filter alphabetically by name or chronologically by date. To add an even contract from scratch you click on the add contract button there, where you can add the name of the contract. You can click in the intended signers field to pick a signer who is already a contact that has been added to the account. You can also create a new contact right here which we're gonna do so we're gonna create a new contact called Lindsey Jones. I'm gonna save that person and now Lindsey is added as an intended signer. I'm also going to choose one of the people from our organization as a counter signer right there and that person will receive notifications of any signature activity. Here you can type in your contractual language and format it and once you've added all that and you click on the Save button to save it and here is that information I just added. You can also edit that by clicking on the edit button. Let's just say instead of typing in our contractual language we want to copy and paste it from a document that we already have. If you have that that information inside of like a Microsoft Word document or a Google Docs document you will first need to save this as a text file or a plain text file. The reason for this is the formatting in Microsoft Word files or Google Docs or even Apple pages documents that formatting it just simply is not compatible with online applications like planning pod so I'm going to paste that from the text editor tool. I opened up that txt file inside of my text editor on my computer and now I can paste that in here and use the formatting tools inside of planning pod to format that text when I'm done. First of all I'm going to add another intended signer here while I'm editing it and then when I'm done I'm going to click on save there's all my new edits right there and over on the right hand side are my three intended signers and you can have as many intended signers as you wish.
