This video shows an illustrative observation of hydrogen bubble generation in Electrochemical Machining (ECM). The video is made at low electrolyte flow rate to be able to see hydrogen gas bubbles. Hydrogen bubbles can be clearly seen coming out of interelectrode gap and then these bubbles migrate up the cathode (tool), grow in size and coalesce.
