Welcome to Codeless Fundamentals. Building an app with Backendless can be done with either very little code or completely without any coding. To support development without any coding, we provide a visual programming system called Codeless. Codeless can be used to express any kind of logic that may be required by the user interface of your app or its backend. This training course is about Codeless Programming. Specifically, it focuses on Codeless Fundamentals.
We will be discussing various rules as they apply to different data types,
you will have an understanding how to work with numbers, strings, dates, boolean values and objects. We will discuss variables and their
importance in programming. We will be reviewing composing logical rules, working with mathematical expressions, manipulating text and operating
with dates. You will learn about lists, also known as collections and all the operations they support including loops to iterate over collection values.
Finally, we will review objects as it is one of the most important concepts in the object-oriented programming (which Codeless supports).
The concepts you will learn in this course will be useful not only to understand Codeless, but for programming in general.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn the basics of programming and specifically for creating logic in Backendless.
The knowledge you will get is a prerequisite for other, more complex concepts such as working with the database, programming user management, or creating complex user interfaces.
