Today I have another Cosmos OG on the channel: Zaki Manian. Zaki graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 where he studied history and finance. He then taught himself software engineering, programming and computer science. From 2008-2013 he was the tech lead at ReaMetrix and then started an enterprise blockchain company called SKU Chain in 2014. He started to contribute more to Bitcoin, Ethereum or ZCash and taught himself cryptography.
In 2017, he then discovered Cosmos and helped launch testnets as well as the validator network on the Cosmos Hub which was launched in 2019. He also significantly contributed to IBC, the interblockchain communication protocol.
